Brooks Team Professional
Here's a Brooks my dad bought for his road bike circa 1980. It's perfectly broken in. So comfortable. It's not staying on the Langster, but may find its way onto another project in to near future.

Exits
My band recorded a new single a few months ago at Cam Leopkey and Shaun Dealey at Prairie Recording. We are releasing it on Mike Braun's new Digital label, along with a few Remixes from some of our favorite DJ's/Musicians across Canada. It should be available for download soon! Here's a quick poster I made the other day that I thought I'd share.

Gold.
I've had this song on repeat for a while thanks to Mike. I had no idea it had such an amazing video.

New Bike?
As much as I love my Langster, I feel it draws too much unwanted attention. I may keep it one more season, but will be looking for something a bit more understated next year. I have always loved the Bianchi Pista. There's a few around town and always catch my eye. Something about those unpainted tubes with the subtle Bianchi lettering. The bike just LOOKS fast. Top it off with a Brooks and you're golden.

God Save The Queen
I at one time considered myself a bit of a "Mod", whatever that meant to me at the time. I loved British Rock from the early 60's, Ben Sherman dress shirts, vintage Korean War Parkas, etc. This picture of Kate Moss caught my eye. Its by Craig McDean who is a British fashion photographer originally from Middlewich near Manchester, but now based in New York City.

Kim Høltermand
Kim has been a huge source of inspiration for me lately. These pictures are just surreal. I really want to go back to Denmark.

Dwell
I love this magazine, and would love to work for them sometime in the future.

Lo Bistro
I feel completely uninspired as of late. I sit at my computer and look at loads and loads of beautiful designs... I should be inspired, but when I try to make something of my own, it falls flat. I've been trying my damnedest to create something unique, something fresh... but then just go with what is easy. I guess that's why one goes to school. To learn the basics, the guidelines, to free the creativity which is hiding inside. I was accepted to attend OCAD in Toronto, so I'm packing up the computer, and moving on out east. It will be quite the adventure, and its what I desperately need.

Corporate Invite
My friend Mark works for Hitachi and asked my to spruce up the invitation to an upcoming conference.

Beocenter 7002
I have always been inspired by Danish design, and Bang & Olufsen has always been at the forefront. Here I tried to create my fathers old 7002 Beocenter in photoshop. It's obviously a quick job, but I could spend a year on it and it would never be perfect.
Jen Delos Reyes Identity.
Here's something I've been working on for a while now. It's an identity for an artist friend who is teaching at the University of Portland. She needed a business card, letterhead, CV update, disks, and an envelope made up. She wanted something very minimal, yet would show her design sensibility. We both agreed on Helvetica and went from there...

Valentines
A VERY quick Valentines day poster I did for Mike. I kind of like it tho. I think Firenze is now my favorite font. Unfortunately it can only be used in small doses. It has the most beautiful numbers of any typeface I've seen.
